Properties of the solution:
Data sharing
Depending on its configuration and the demands of the Authorised Institutions, the BX System allows selected data from the surveillance of an object to be transferred using:
- CD/DVD/Blu-Ray discs,
- the ETSI (LIHI) interface,
- the Nokia AB interface.
The BX System module responsible for recording data onto CD/DVD/Blu-Ray discs allows the automatic recording and labelling, and facilitates the implementation of appropriate procedures for the circulation of classified documents.
Managment of monitored objects:
The BX System provides for the management of objects under surveillance in two independent ways:
- remotely via the ETSI (LIHI) interface,
- remotely through the MML language for CS,
- locally,
- directly in the System, through a specialised application.
Correlation of data from various sources:
The BX System has advanced features of assigning recorded data to appropriate dedications. Additionally, it provides for the transmitted information to be complemented with data from selected IT Systems supporting the operation of a given network. In this way, the System automatically identifies subscribers and the geographic location of the monitored objects.
Data gathering:
During the dedication, the content of the transmissions being monitored is provided to the BX System, where it is recorded or transmitted via dedicated interfaces to the relevant Authorised Institutions.
The duration of the period of data collection in the BX System is determined by the Operator. After this time, the data are automatically deleted. In addition, the System can act as a data cache in the event of a failure of the links leading to the Authorised Institutions.
Audit Mode (Safe Box):
Logs all the operations related to:
- the management of monitored objects,
- maintaining accountability,
- maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Reliability:
There is a high System reliability of the BX System – 99.95%, confirmed during its operation on a production platform operating without interruption for several years in one of the leading Polish Telecom Operators.
Performance and scalability:
The modular architecture of the System allows it to be easily expanded, regardless of:
- the network development,
- the Operator’s services,
- an increase in demand for the number of monitored objects.
Security:
The BX System’ssecurity mechanisms, in combination with the modular structure of the System, allow for its flexible configuration, enabling the highest security standards.
